Synopsis

A stop-motion short about four My Little Ponies having a dance party when a very unexpected guest shows up. When faced with this unknown entity, the smallest of them turns out to be the bravest of them all.

Production

This was filmed over 3 days using my Android phone and a tripod; an extra day was added after I edited all the photos together and found that, halfway through filming, the camera had gotten knocked askew. So those shots had to be reshot, but I do feel like they turned out better the second time around.

The set itself is my old My Little Pony castle, and I used household-found items as props, such as a napkin for a ghost costume. For this, I wanted to mimic a child’s logic, not only in the storytelling but also in the world-building.
